Myers Barnes, a well-known sales trainer in the home building business, has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Homes By Taber, a builder based in Oklahoma City.
Barnes has worked with Taber LeBlanc, who founded Homes By Taber, in a consulting role for years. When the Oklahoma builder approached him about joining his company in a leadership role, Barnes said he knew he had found the match that had eluded him.
“I feel like we won the grand prize by gaining Myers full-time,” said LeBlanc. “It’s unheard of for a consultant of his caliber to join a building company in this capacity. His knowledge, expertise and energy has always inspired us to pursue our goals, to be a better team and a better builder for our homeowners.”
Barnes is the author of nine books on sales, management, leadership and marketing.
