BUILDER’s premier lists of the top 200 builders in the country, the BUILDER 100 and the Next 100, are set to be released next week. In light of that, we are counting down each day with some facts and figures gleaned from the data. Click here to see all of the numbers released so far.

Move-up housing is the hottest product type for home builders, according to this year’s Builder 100/Next 100 data.

More than 100 building companies on the list of the top 200 firms in the country reported that they are targeting move-up or second-time buyers. (Click here for a report on one of them.)

Meanwhile—despite arguments to the contrary–entry-level houses also remain relevant with more than 30 firms building for those people looking to enter the housing market.
