Ashton Woods said Monday that it has named building industry veteran Lindsay Motley as the new president of the Austin Division.
With more than 18 years of experience in the home building industry, Motley will lead the Austin Division’s strategic initiatives, land acquisitions and home building operations.
“Lindsay’s deep experience in the industry provides her with an ideal background and foundation to lead our Austin division,” said Ken Balogh, president and CEO of Ashton Woods. “We’ve been searching for a proven leader with a strong strategic mindset, and we’re excited that Lindsay shares our vision of a design-forward approach to homebuilding in this competitive marketplace.”
Motley spent her entire career in the home building industry with Pulte Homes, serving in multiple leadership roles throughout her nearly two-decade tenure. Most recently, she served as the division operations manager of the company’s central Texas division. Prior to this role, she worked in several divisions across the United States in both sales and operations roles as well as a corporate role providing strategic leadership on sales strategy, talent management, IT resources, analytics, and training.
“I am thrilled to join the Austin Division and work for an industry-leading builder I have long admired,” said Motley. “Austin is such a dynamic market with so many exciting opportunities to build homes with the outstanding design Ashton Woods is known for. I see a very bright future for us in Austin and look forward to leading this great team through our next inspiring journey.
