Maryland–based home builder and apartment developer Bozzuto has been named a Baltimore Sun Top Workplace, based on results of an employee survey.

The award is the latest in a collection of recent accolades reflecting the company’s commitment to its employees. Earlier this year, Bozzuto was honored with a Top Workplace award from The Washington Post, a CandE North American Candidate Experience Award for excellence in candidate interviewing, and an ORA Award as the country’s best property management company. The company has long been dedicated to employee satisfaction, diversity, and inclusion, says CEO Toby Bozzuto.

“Our mission of creating extraordinary experiences extends to our employees. This wonderful recognition is a testament to the workplace culture we have and hope to continue to create,” says Bozzuto. “Any success that Bozzuto has is attributable to the work of our 2,200 employees who feel inspired by what they do and are driven to be a part of something meaningful.”

Bozzuto– No. 172 on BUILDER’s Next 100 list–has long recognized that people succeed when they are part of a strong and inclusive community, he says. Two examples of Bozzuto’s commitment to fostering an extraordinary company culture include initiatives such as Bozzuto Cares and Bozzuto Voices; both of which urge employees to make a positive impact on their community and in their work environment.

Bozzuto Cares inspires and engages Bozzuto employees through workplace giving and volunteering and gives them the ability to connect through community service efforts. Bozzuto Voices is a virtual platform that encourages employees to submit questions, ideas or compliments about the company or their specific worksites.
