Dan Dunmoyer, president and CEO of the California Building Industry Association (CBIA), announced today that Frank de Lima has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
For more than a decade-and-a-half, de Lima has worked closely with California’s leading home builders and major land developers to advance and secure some of the industry’s most important policy objectives.
Before joining CBIA in 2014, de Lima was the principal of a highly successful advocacy and consulting firm. He also has extensive legislative and political experience having worked for a number of respected state legislators and leading major political campaigns throughout California.
In his new role, de Lima will continue to lead the industry’s political efforts, as well as work closely with CBIA’s CEO Dan Dunmoyer to ensure the organization’s strategic priorities are achieved.
“Frank has been an invaluable member of our organization and a key player in our efforts to providing the American Dream of homeownership for all Californians. The CBIA Board and I are thrilled to recognize his dedication and hard-earned achievements with this promotion. I am looking forward to working closely with him to advance and enhance CBIA’s future efforts,” said Dunmoyer.
