HHHunt Names New CFO

Todd Kobayashi joined the real estate development company today, succeeding James A. Crowder, who will retire on December 31.

HHHunt on Thursday said Todd Kobayashi joined the company today as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Kobayashi has more than a decade of experience financing and developing multifamily living, senior housing and student housing. He will succeed James A. Crowder, who will retire on December 31, 2018.

“We are pleased to welcome Todd to the HHHunt family,” said Buck Hunt, Vice Chairman and CEO. “He brings extensive experience in the financing and development space. Todd will serve HHHunt well as we continue to grow our diverse portfolio of real estate assets.”

Since 2013, Kobayashi has served as CFO at Foutch Architecture & Development in Kansas City, a leading firm in the country in the redevelopment of historic buildings. Prior to his tenure at Foutch, Kobayashi served in several vice president roles at Great Plains Energy/KCP&L for nine years.

He graduated Cum Laude from Miami University in Oxford, OH with a Bachelor of Science in Business degree. Kobayashi also attended the Harvard Business School in Cambridge, MA, graduating from the Advanced Management Program and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
