Truland Homes, Spanish Fort, Alabama, recently announced a Florida expansion with Chad Edgar, Gulf Coast West division president, entering the Escambia, Santa Rosa, and North Walton County markets. Late last week, the builder announced the addition of Jeff Wayne as Gulf Coast East division president who will continue expanding into Florida in the South Walton and Bay County markets.
“We are just getting started and I do not expect us to slow down any time soon. Keeping with our purpose to see all we can do with all we have been given, our intention is to provide the Truland experience to anyone looking to buy a quality home along the Gulf Coast,” Edgar said.
Jeff Wayne recently served as division president in Columbus, Ohio for NVR, building a strong and profitable business. With almost two decades of experience in the home building industry, Wayne has served in multiple roles including general manager, sales representative, production manager, division cost control manager and project manager.
When asked about joining Truland Homes in Florida, Wayne said, “I am delighted at the opportunity to join such a forward-thinking builder and excited to see the growth that Truland Homes will experience as we continue our natural expansion through Florida.”
In recent months, Truland Homes experienced aggressive growth not only with the Florida expansion but with the addition of Charles Schetter as President and CEO. Truland Homes was recently identified as the 159th largest builder by BUILDER Magazine, ranked 152nd on Professional Builder’s annual Housing Giants list, and included in the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies list. In 2018, Truland closed more than 260 homes, generating approximately $100 million in revenue.
