In February 2015, Brookfield Residential Properties acquired Austin-based Grand Haven Homes. Bow Grand Haven is becoming Brookfield Homes.

The name change will phase in by neighborhood over the next 60 days. According to news release, the renaming of Grand Haven Homes is designed to allow Brookfield Residential to provide master-planned communities and home building as a single entity in Central Texas.

“Over the past 10 years, Grand Haven Homes has established an excellent reputation as a builder of high-quality, well-designed homes,” said Shaun Cranston, senior vice president of Brookfield Residential Texas operations in the news release. “We are pleased to align our passion for great communities with Grand Haven Homes’ outstanding product diversity and exceptional locations. We feel these complementary traits will allow us to focus on creating the best places to call home as a single company.”

Grand Haven Homes currently builds in 18 Central Texas communities with homes priced from the upper $200s to over $1 million. Homes will now be built and sold under the company’s full name Brookfield Residential Properties. In addition, Brookfield Residential expects to open several new communities over the coming months, according to the news release.

“We are thrilled to rebrand under the Brookfield Residential nameplate,” said Eric Rome, vice president for Brookfield Residential and former president of Grand Haven Homes in the release. “We have spent the past year aligning our people and processes to ensure a seamless transition for our customers. Homebuyers accessing us online and in our models will see the attention to detail they’ve become accustomed to, combined with the passion for excellent community living and the financial strength that Brookfield Residential is known for.”

Grand Haven Homes will begin changing its signage and monuments in late October and expects to be fully rebranded to Brookfield Residential by the end of the year.
