Following the $1.2 billion merger in May between New Home Co. and Landsea Homes, the unified organization has launched under a new national brand: Risewell Homes.
All current and future communities will operate under the new Risewell Homes brand, marking an important next chapter for the future of the combined New Home Co.-Landsea Homes operation.
The brand’s stated mission is “to elevate the home buying experience with better ways to build, buy, and live.”
The footprint of Irvine, California-based Risewell Homes stretches across more than 120 actively selling communities in 11 major markets in California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Florida, Washington, and Oregon. The company has a land pipeline of 28,000 controlled lots.
According to the 2025 Builder 100 database, Landsea Homes closed 2,831 homes in 2024 and New Home Co. closed 1,123 homes. The combined company, with nearly 4,000 annual closings, would rank 25th on the 2025 Builder 100 list.
“Risewell Homes represents the best of where we have been and the future we are building together,” said Matthew R. Zaist, CEO of Risewell Homes. “By unifying under one brand, led by a team with decades of proven expertise, and with the support of Apollo, we are creating a modern home builder committed to delivering the finest homes with a streamlined, more transparent experience. Our purpose is clear and a direct reflection of our new identity: to create places where people and possibilities rise.”
According to a news release, the brand identity of Risewell Homes is built on three pillars: trust, experience, and strength.
Trust will be built on transparency, follow-through, and long-standing relationships from decades of serving thousands of home buyers while a “seamless, start-to-finishing” journey supported by digital tools and local expertise will deliver a unique experience to prospective buyers. The scale and capabilities of two national builders as well as the capital support of Apollo Global Management provides Risewell Homes with the strength to operate in the current and future market environment.
