The Week Ahead: November 16

The week before Thanksgiving features builder’s sentiment, starts, permits and a big event.

Here are the stories coming your way for the week of November 16.
  • On Tuesday (11/17), the November NAHB Builder Survey comes out. Last month, the index hit 64 and Wall Street expects that to hold this month.
  • On Wednesday (11/18), October housing starts are released. In September starts climbed 6.5% to 1.21 million homes. The Street expects starts to hit 1.16 in October.
  • Last month, building permits fell 5% percent to 1.1 million. When October’s permits come out on Wednesday, The Street expects them to rise to 1.2 million.
  • Greenbuild 2015 comes to Washington D.C. this week. Expect updates from BUILDER throughout the week.
