Andersen Corporation and the Andersen Corporate Foundation are donating $175,000 in monetary support and building products to the Red Cross and to Houston Habitat for Humanity, in order to help the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

Andersen Corporation is contributing $100,000 of windows and doors for Houston Habitat for Humanity’s rebuilding efforts. The Andersen Corporate Foundation is making a $50,000 monetary donation, and has pledged to match up to $25,000 in employee donations to the Red Cross.

“The Andersen team is pleased to provide this important support to help in the recovery and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Harvey,” says Jay Lund, Andersen Chairman and CEO.

Habitat for Humanity and Andersen have been partners for more than 20 years. Houston Habitat for Humanity has built over 1,000 affordable homes for low-income families in Houston and the surrounding area.

“We’re very thankful for the generous donation of windows and doors from Andersen,” says Allison Hay, Executive Director of Houston Habitat for Humanity. “We have many Habitat families impacted by this disaster and Andersen’s proactive support is much appreciated.”
