Maine-based architecture and construction firm GO Logic has launched a new line of high-performance prefab houses.

The GO Home is available to home buyers in Maine, New England, and beyond via the firm’s website.

The GO Home combines GO Logic’s expertise in super-efficient Passive House design with an advanced process of panelized, prefab construction that has been field-tested over the past eight years. The product line—which includes year-round and seasonal homes from 600 to 2,500 square feet—embodies the crisp, rural-modern aesthetic that the award-winning firm is known for.

The new website presents a streamlined process for choosing a house, adding options like a barn, garage, or covered porch, and completing the design with selections from a curated menu of fixtures and finishes. Each GO Home comes with straightforward pricing for construction within Maine. For projects outside of Maine, the firm provides custom pricing that reflects local costs.

Every GO Home includes an airtight, superinsulated building shell, ultra-high performance windows that collect free heat from the sun, and a heat-recovery ventilation system that supplies a constant flow of clean, fresh air. The result is a house that saves over 80 percent of the energy consumed by a conventional building, while providing a healthier, more comfortable living environment, says the firm.
