Southeastern U.S.-based Kolter Homes has announced significant sales progress at its Cresswind Charlotte 55+ active adult neighborhood with more than 120 homes sold since its opening in June 2017. To meet home buyer demand, the company is releasing its next phase, featuring an additional 53 new home sites now available for purchase.
The community is located 13 miles east of Charlotte, N.C.’s city center and is set on 370 acres of woodlands. Featuring craftsman-style homes starting in the mid $200s, the one-level floorplans include open gourmet kitchens, large master baths, and optional second-floor bonus rooms.
“We’re thrilled with the enthusiasm for Cresswind Charlotte, and look forward to continued positive momentum,” says Mike McClendon, Cresswind Charlotte’s project director. “Our proximity to uptown, resort-caliber amenities, and stunning homes makes Cresswind the top place to live in Charlotte for today’s modern active adult.”
An 18,000-square-foot clubhouse is also currently under construction, which will boast a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, pickleball and bocce ball courts, and an event lawn. It’s projected to be completed by spring 2019.
“Our new clubhouse will embody the pillars of the Cresswind lifestyle, which is focused on fitness, nutrition and relationships,” says McClendon. “We’ll be offering an unparalleled list of amenities and a full calendar of social programs, all in our resident’s backyards.”
