Developed by Newland Communities and owned by a business entity of North America Sekisui House, LLC (NASH), RiverLights will consist of 2,500 single-family and multifamily homes, commercial space, and a 38-acre freshwater lake. There will be an array of family-friendly amenities, such as public parks, paddle boarding, nature paths, restaurants, and access to the Cape Fear River. With prices starting in the the $200s, the homes will be accessible to a range of buyers and will include townhomes, single-family dwellings, and condominiums.

Builders selected to participate are Plantation Building Corp, 70 West Builders, H&H Homes, The Cottages, American Homesmith, Trusst Builder Group, and Charter Building Group. The homes will feature many sustainable technologies and will be third-party certified.
