John Laing Homes consolidates operations in northern California

1 MIN READ

John Laing Homes today disclosed that it is consolidating its three northern Calfornia divisions into one division operating from offices in Roseville, Calif., near Sacramento.

Mark Levens, the division’s vice president of sales and marketing, confirms that Roseville is incorporating the operations of Laing’s Central Valley division in Modesto, Calif., and its Bay Area division in Pleasanton, Calif. Levens adds the Pleasanton office would remain open, although he did not say what function this office would serve.

The builder’s consolidated division, which includes the San Francisco Bay area, will oversee 22 communities, according to John Laing Homes’ Web site. Quoting data from Hanley Wood Market Intelligence, the Sacramento Bee reports that John Laing is the 16th-largest builder in sales in the counties that this merged division now serves.

Levens referred other inquiries to the division’s president, Kevin Carson, who could not be reached for comment at presstime.
