Meritage Homes has announced that nine of its home building divisions have been honored in the 18th annual Avid Awards. In addition, its Southern California division took home the Avid Diamond Award for the second consecutive year, recognized for having the highest customer ratings of any production builder in the United States. Meritage was the only public home builder to receive this honor in 2020.
Recipients of the Avid Awards are evaluated using Avid’s ratings platform as well as analysis of its New Home Move-In Experience survey. The survey scores customer satisfaction, willingness to refer, actual numbers of referrals, and ratings of the overall home buying experience.
Meritage’s Houston division earned the Avid Gold Award, which recognizes builders with the highest scores in their region on Avid’s New Home Move-In Experience survey. Divisions in Austin, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; Denver; Tampa, Florida; Tucson, Arizona; San Antonio; and Northern California earned Avid Benchmark Awards for scoring among the top 25% of builders for customer satisfaction.
