Tempe, Arizona-based private builder Fulton Homes has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as the 2020 Indoor airPLUS Leader of the Year–Builder, following previous recognitions as the 2020 WaterSense Builder Partner of the Year and 2020 Energy Star Partner of the Year–Sustained Excellence Award. This marks the first time a home builder has been awarded Partner of the Year in each of these categories, according to the builder.
The EPA has given the builder various Leader Awards over the past six years, and 2020 marks the second time in the three years that Fulton Homes has received the Indoor airPLUS Leader of the Year–Builder award.
Since Fulton Homes joined the EPA’s airPLUS program in 2014, it has built approximately 3,700 homes with the Indoor airPLUS label. All of the builder’s new construction is built to Indoor airPLUS standards, and many Fulton Homes are certified to all three standards—WaterSense, Energy Star, and Indoor airPLUS.
