The NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) is accepting proposals from professionals interested in presenting an education session at IBS 2019, which will be held Feb. 19-21 in Las Vegas, Nev. Submissions are due Friday, May 4.

IBS is the housing industry’s largest light construction show, and was attended by over 60,000 professionals this year. Experts on remodeling, design, green building, business management, and other topics are invited to propose a 60-minute Building Knowledge session, per the Request for Proposals (RFP). Some proposals may be considered for additional types of education programming at the event.

Applicants are advised to pay close attention to the “leading topics of interest” included in the RFP, which IBS attendees said they most wanted to learn about in 2019. Less than 25 percent of proposals are selected, but ideas that most closely align with these topics have the best chance. The full roster of speakers for a session must be included at the time of submission.
