On June 21 the 15th Annual Congressional Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency conference will be held in Washington, D.C., at the Cannon House Office Building. It will feature more than 40 businesses, associations, agencies, and organizations focused on finding intersections between renewable energies and energy-efficient products. The presentations and discussions will address, among other topics, the role of sustainable technologies in the creation of green jobs and economic stimulation.
The exhibits will be open from 9:30 am to 4:30pm, with presentations by members of congress throughout the day. Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucuses along with the House Algae Energy Caucus, House Peak Oil Caucus, and House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition will all be participating in the day’s events. Builders, architects, engineers, designers, consumers, or anyone interested in energy conservation may attend this free symposium.
