The American Subcontractors Association (ASA) Midwest named McGrath & Associates “General Contractor of the Year” at its gala held in St. Louis on April 23. This is the sixth time McGrath has received the award , including twice in the past three years. Overall, the company has been nominated General Contractor of the Year by ASA Midwest members 18 times.

“Our awards are about celebrating excellence,” said ASA Midwest Council President Kevin Douglas said in a press release. “The winners this year are outstanding examples of what is possible when a project team works together toward their common goal.”

ASA members nominate and cast votes for the “General Contractor of the Year” award, which is presented to three companies in categories based on sales volume. The award honors general contractors for their bid ethics practices, equitable contract/purchase order provisions, safety policy and practices, payment practices, jobsite supervision, scheduling coordination, subcontractor/vendor relations, and administrative procedures/paperwork.

McGrath & Associates is a 100 percent employee-owned general contractor and construction management firm building in the commercial, health care, industrial, institutional and pharmaceutical construction projects since 1983.
