Walters Homes, headquartered in Barnegat, N.J., is constructing a new office building to bring four of its divisions under one roof.
The new office facility will be located near the entrance and exit point to Long Beach Island at 701 Central Ave in Ship Bottom.
The two-story 5,790-square-foot building will house a Walters Homes sales office, Walters Realty, Walters Architecture LLC and design center. The building is expected to be completed in the summer 2019. This will be the second sales location for Walters Homes, which maintains a sales office at 880 Mill Creek Road in Manahawkin and corporate offices in Barnegat.
“This will be an ideal location to serve clients looking to build a new home in the Long Beach Island region,” said Matthew Gaudet-Walters, sales associate. “Each of our four divisions offers unique resources to assist clients, including sales, design guidance, land acquisition, teardown opportunities as well as mortgage and title insurance services. Our aim is to offer an enhanced experience by providing a full range of services.”
Last year, Walters Homes expanded their services to include Walters Realty headed by Broker Patrick Bocchicchio and Walters Architecture LLC led by Arnold Boyle, AIA.
The new building is designed to meet the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) standards, known as LEED. Walters Homes will occupy 4,730 square feet of space while 1,060 square feet will be leased to an undisclosed restaurant.
Another Walters Homes office site on the corner of Route 35 and 3rd Ave. in Ortley Beach is currently in the design phase and is expected to get under way by year-end. Walters Architecture is designing both new office buildings.
