The Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) looks much different than it did in 1959. From a small educational conference, it has evolved into a four-day experience featuring high-level offerings, exhibits, award ceremonies, and product launches.
PCBC 2025, which is in partnership with California Building Industry Association (CBIA) and the Leading Builders of America (LBA), is not only moving the home building industry forward this year—but the event itself. With the slogan ‘Dare to Be Different’ the conference is moving everything—from displays, keynotes, Pitchfest, social activations, and more—to one floor at the Anaheim Convention Center on June 11-12, 2025.
A few highlights from the Main Stage Keynotes include:
- Stephanie McCarty, chief marketing officer at Taylor Morrison, on “Challenging Norms IS the Norm”
- Mike Cessario, founder and CEO of Liquid Death, on “Entertain or Die: Day Trading Attention for the 21st Century”
- Dr. Sahar Yousef, cognitive neuroscientist, on “Tuning the Brain for Creativity and Innovation”
Other educational topics will include wildfire resiliency and decarbonizing housing while the Innovation Stage will zoom in on sustainability, technology, AI, and community enhancements.
New to this year’s educational line up is the Braindate Lounge. Braindates are one-on-one or small group conversations based on themes posted by you and fellow participants in the Braindate Topic Market. The topics can be used to brainstorm, solve challenges, share expertise or experiences while meeting new people.
And while learning and meeting new folks is vital to moving the industry forward, a break is nice too. PCBC 2025 will host several social functions including the REGception to kick it off; Rock the Block featuring live music from Dunsbar Road; and the “2×4” Wrap Party.
