The Lake View Residence embodies quiet elegance through its use of curved lines and filtered natural light. Given the home is set along the edge of Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas, the design focuses on creating a connection between interior spaces and the surrounding natural environment. The home’s open layout enhances a sense of spaciousness and flow across 2,546 square feet of living space, allowing rooms to flow together and framing views of the lake. Materials used in the Lake View Residence evoke warmth and simplicity under a soft skylight designed to maximize natural light.  

The use of curved walls softens the bedroom spaces and create retreats filled with natural light and treetop views. The kitchen and dining areas were planned by architect team Forsite Studio as welcoming gathering spaces that balance style and function, supporting both everyday use and entertaining for guests. A private balcony on the roof extends the living experience outdoors and furthers the goal of connectivity between living space, Lady Bird Lake, and nearby downtown Austin.
