In the interior, the floor to ceiling windows in the living room afford guests an excellent view of the garden and the nearby roads, with screens for opacity that allow for reduced light and increased privacy as one desires. The exterior takes inspiration from its neighbors, made of materials like stucco, painted wood clapboard, and bricks.
Due to its placement, there was limited available space, and the project was completed quickly. Although the builds of the surrounding homes discourage residents from viewing or interacting with the surrounding community, the North Adams House was designed and built to encourage participation and social interaction.
