The NAHB currently is accepting submissions for its 2012 Best in American Living Awards (BALA). The awards are given to innovative residential designs that most effectively anticipate lifestyle trends in the U. S. Entry categories include custom homes, multifamily, remodeling, community planning, and interior spaces and any member of the design or construction team may submit a project. Previous winners have included a waterfront home in Florida, an attached townhouse in Massachusetts, a South Carolinian retreat, and more. BALA winners will be announced in January during the 2013 NAHB International Builders’ Show and showcased in our sister publication, Builder magazine.
