AIA Seattle has named its 2011 FutureShack winners! I was pleased to see two projects (out of 6) from Weinstein A/U, including a 2011 residential architect design awards winner, the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Patient House. All of the winners, including Pike Station Live/Work Lofts by atelierjones llc and Admiral Live-Work by zimmerraystudios, look interesting. This is a really forward-thinking competition run by people thinking not only about how we live today, but about how we’ll be living in the future. For more info on it, click here.
