Hunterdon Kitchen

Hunterdon County, N.J.

The design of this New Jersey kitchen dated back to the early 1980s and thus had passed its expiration date. To give the homeowners the open living area they wanted, the design team started fresh, gutting the space and the adjoining hallway, pantry, powder room, home office, sunroom, breakfast room, and dining room. White and lacquered wood cabinets provide contrast. Frosted glass pocket doors, a strip of windows, and stainless steel countertops promote light while teak flooring adds warmth.
