To maximize the small lot sizes in the Contempo Collection community in South Jordan, Utah, Sego Homes created a floor plan with large, private outdoor living spaces that accentuate the land’s proximity to the Wasatch Range. The Innovator, one of five floor plans in the single-family community, features two-story vaulted ceilings in the living room, three stories of floating staircases, and a large roof deck to provide residents with outdoor entertainment space as well as a place to enjoy the surrounding landscape. The jurors identified the sky room, the double-vaulted ceiling in the living room, and the roof deck as project highlights, noting that “not every house affords [the] experience” delivered by the roof deck and exterior living spaces.

For simplified, secure living, homeowners can have orders delivered in the package locker door located next to the front entry. Plus, a grocery door connects the garage and prep kitchen, allowing for quick and easy unpacking.
