Captiva Master Bath

Captiva Island, Fla.

1 MIN READ

There are no doors separating this luxurious bath from its adjacent retreat, yet it maintains an appropriate degree of privacy by hiding behind the freestanding headboard wall of the master bedroom. Walk around the corner and that same wall (which nicely hides electrical and plumbing mechanicals) has a double vanity and dressing area on the other side. Two closets across from the vanity then form a portal into the deeper recesses of the bathroom, which contain the tub, shower, and water closet. Sporting a look that designer Jenny Lind Carter calls “tropical modern,” the space combines rich African Mahogany with light quartz countertops, wide plank wood floors, and a custom opaque glass shower enclosure.
