Survey: Taylor Morrison Most Trusted

Home builder leads others for the second consecutive year.

Taylor Morrison came in first in trust among national home builders according to Lifestory Research America’s Most Trusted® 2017 Home Builder Study, released Tuesday.

In its fifth year, the study tracks over 100 builder brands in 35 of the largest housing markets in the United States. The study examines how trust influences consumers’ evaluations of home-builder brands.

“We know from the opinions of new home shoppers that trust has a bottom line impact on the purchase decisions they make,” said Lifestory Research President Eric Snider. “It is a distinction that Taylor Morrison has captured the trust of home shoppers in two consecutive years in the study. Trust is the new currency by which people evaluate brands. When a brand attains the trust of people, the brand stands apart from all others.”


The awards are based upon the collection and evaluation of thousands of consumer opinions. The approach used to capture the opinions of people seeks to adhere to the highest quality standards of consumer insight. In this program of research, the survey identifies brand awareness, perceptions of quality, product satisfaction, product experience and opinions of trust. The program of research occurs throughout the prior 12 month time period in which participants are randomly drawn from American households in the largest housing markets.
