The owners of this waterfront home wanted to feel as though they were living in a resort, so designer Phil Kean made the serene lake an integral part of the bath design. Pocket sliding glass doors open the spa-like bath to the outdoors, allowing its neutral palette—ivory travertine, buttermilk Caesarstone, and ipe decking—to blend seamlessly with the landscape. The setting’s only unwelcome elements of nature are insects, which can be kept out during buggy seasons with retractable screens.
