Located in New York’s Financial District, Exhibit at 60 Fulton reports that the building is 65% leased after its first month on the market, and the property’s agent attributes the property’s success to its chic design and highly publicized 1970s–1980s photographic art collection.
Curated throughout its sleek interiors, which bear designer Andres Escobar’s pedigree, the design-savvy property reportedly brought curious apartment seekers to the building’s website while it was still shrouded in construction scaffolding and fencing. Within the first four weeks of the building’s November 2017 opening, the leasing firm—the Heller Organization—received applications for 40% of the units.

“The kind of activity we’ve been seeing, from the very beginning, is unprecedented for this time of year and truly speaks to the quality of the product,” says Adam Heller, president and CEO of Heller Organization. “Exhibit was acclaimed from day one for its eclectic design, distinct amenities, and sweeping views. Even before the leasing program began, there were many online inquiries.”

The 23-story tower’s 120 units range from studios to two-bedroom apartments, many offering terraces or balconies and views of downtown Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Hudson River. Downstairs, the building contains 6,000 square feet of ground-level retail space and 20-foot ceilings throughout, as well as an all-glass façade. Current rents average approximately $4,600.

The building’s common spaces are fitted with Exhibit’s curated art and photograph collections. A 250-foot-high private penthouse club contains a private dining room, demonstration kitchen, and wraparound adjoining terrace.

Co-developer Scott Aaron of Socius Development Group, points out, “I am not surprised by the velocity of the leasing we are seeing. Exhibit was always designed to set a new bar for luxury rentals in Manhattan. I believe in creativity and quality, and our talented team of New York professionals delivered.”
“This property has been part of my family’s portfolio for many decades. It is very exciting to see it transformed through innovative design into one of FiDi’s most sought-after rental buildings,” adds co-developer Steven Brauser of The Parkland Group.
