FourPlans: More Plans for Golf Communities

2 MIN READ

Our first collection of Homes for Golf Lovers attracted some attention. So, here are four more plans that are ready to show off a great view in a golf community. There’s room to store golf carts, of course.

Third Garage Bay in Back

Stone, stucco, a dramatic arched window, and flared eaves are charming touches on the exterior of this 44-foot-wide home. The third garage bay has a door in back, making it ideal for golf cart storage. Inside the home, there’s a clear sight line from the two-story entry all the way back to the open dining room’s bayed window. An office/den lets buyers pursue work or hobbies at home. Three bedrooms rest upstairs, including the generous master suite. See more images, information, and the floor plan.

Two Master Suites

This design by Visbeen Architects makes a great vacation residence or primary home. Two master suites, each with a private bath, bookend the main floor and are great for visitors or live-in relatives. The open gathering area offers abundant seating at the kitchen’s curving snack counter, at the dining table (there’s room for a big one), and in the fireplace-warmed living room. Kids will love the bunk-bed-ready bedrooms and recreation spaces downstairs. See more images, information, and the floor plan.

Room to Expand Downstairs

There’s lots of space to expand on the lower level of this striking home. On the first floor, a couple can live comfortable with the open kitchen and great room, the den, and two bedrooms (including the roomy master suite). For additional space, the lower level can be finished to hold two more bedrooms, an office, a recreation room (complete with a wet bar), and all kinds of storage – the yard equipment bay would make a great spot for a golf cart. See more images, information, and the floor plan.

Indoor/Outdoor Connections

A seamless transition between indoors and outdoors is the hallmark of this charmer. Easy living flows through the generous island kitchen, spacious nook, and vaulted great room with its dramatic see-through gas fireplace out to the covered rear patio. The bold facade features columns and brackets with classic board-and-batten, shingle, and stone accents. The garage offers a third bay that opens to the rear of the house for easy access.
