Not every barndominium plan has a huge garage. Here’s a new design with 1,320 square feet and a simple footprint.

On the exterior, a wide front porch gets a modern touch via the metal roof. A rugged fireplace contributes rustic curb appeal that would be at home in a vacation locale.

Inside, the open floor plan flows from the living room (where that fireplace creates warm ambience) to the island kitchen. The primary suite gives homeowners a walk-in closet and a streamlined bathroom with a custom shower. There’s room for guests in the second bedroom.
