House Plan of the Week: 4 Beds, 1 Floor, and 1,880 Square Feet

This new plan can appeal to families, downsizers, or just about anyone wanting maximum accessibility and versatility.

Why limit the marketability of your homes to one or two living situations? Here’s a new home design that offers a pretty remarkable amount of versatility for many different potential clients.

First, the most obvious advantage is single-level living. Because it’s a one-story plan, aging in place, chasing after kids, or just about anything will be easier than in a two-story design. (If you need something narrow, look here.)

Second, the presence of four bedrooms is a plus. While this might be more than some people need, the one near the front would make a good office or hobby space.

Then, consider the plan’s finer details. In the main suite’s bathroom, two separate vanities, each with its own linen storage, ensure space for each partner. The pantry sits just steps away from the garage for easy grocery unloading. Generous closets throughout make organization easy.
