Neal Communities has unveiled a new two-story floor plan, the Independence, at Indigo, a gated, island-resort style community in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., near Sarasota.
At 2,104 square feet, the Independence is a spacious, open design that features three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and a two-car garage. The layout has a gourmet kitchen, a large island and a cafe-styled dining space. A large walk-in closet along with two sinks, walk-in shower and water closet complete the master retreat. Flexible space options for the plan include an additional bonus room, extra bedroom and bath as well as an outdoor kitchen.
The single-family home community offers a variety of other home designs and floor plans that embrace island, Spanish and Tuscan architectural designs. Once completed, Indigo will have a total of 580 maintenance-assisted homes on 151.32 acres. Home prices start at $259,990 and range in size from 1,407 to 2,400 square feet.
Club Indigo, Indigo’s $1.6 million recreation center, boasts a full-time lifestyle coordinator and features areas for community events, a culinary kitchen, fitness room and movement studio, resort-style pool with cabanas, spa, pickle ball and bocce ball courts. Residents have access to recreational amenities, including 150 miles of walking and biking trails, nature preserves and parks and gun, polo and cricket clubs.
