From trails to yoga studios, 55+ communities are doing it all to keep the residents that call their communities home on their feet as much as possible. In a first-of-its-kind program for Texas, Dallas-based active-adult developer Nathan Carlisle Homes has partnered with local bicycle manufacturer Villy Custom (of recent Shark Tank fame) to provide signature custom cruisers in Nathan Carlisle brand colors to purchasers at two of their newest communities—Lakes at Legacy in Prosper, and ArrowBrooke in Aubrey.
“Nathan Carlisle goes above and beyond to make our active adult communities special, and this bike program will certainly do that as it creates a fun, unique and notable differentiator for Lakes at Legacy and ArrowBrooke,” says Richard Dix, CEO of Nathan Carlisle Homes. “In addition to helping create a special sense of community for these new developments, this bike program will help keep residents active as they get outside and enjoy the miles of trails we have specifically designed around our water features and amenity centers.”
Purchasers will recieve one bike per home—with the option to purchase a second. The first 25 buyers at each community will receive a uniquely colored bike and become inaugural members of “The Cruisers” social club. Subsequent buyers will receive matching orange bikes that incorporate Nathan Carlisle’s logo colors into their design, and frames featuring the company’s tagline: “Living Life. Loving Life.” Each bike’s chain guards will showcase the specific community name, and bicycle racks will be located throughout each community to encourage regular use.
