When was the last time you walked into a room and felt renewed? You felt lighter just from the ambiance and the surroundings? Picture what it was like. What elements does it bring to mind?
A water feature? Subdued colors? Different textures?
Aundrea Brown, vice president of sales and marketing at Intermark Design, is making renewal a tangible element in the reNEWable Living Home project. Click on the video below to learn more about her approach.
First, Brown and her team meet with the builder to get an understanding of the buyer demographic. In the case of this project home, it’s a multigenerational family, spanning three generations with different tastes and psychographics.
Then, the Intermark Design team uses that information to create a home that speaks to the buyer, taking into consideration all the different mediums and textures available, such as concrete, wood, cork, and recycled paper that were all brought out in the furniture style.
Brown and her team followed an organic, very subdued track. They also were able to incorporate pieces that had applied uses and recycle them with new or unique purposes for the home.
Today, renewal also means being aided by technology – using the benefits and conveniences of technology to supplement certain aspects of living. The reNEWable Living Home incorporates new technologies in a way that is subtle and unique and that benefits the home buyer. For more information about the home, visit www.builderonline.com/renewable.
