In this insightful video, Steve Kempton, regional president of Florida for Taylor Morrison, talks about how the NEXTadventure project didn’t have just one “aha” moment but several.
Kempton says that regardless of the team’s familiarity with the 55-plus home buyer, the company remains open for new insights and then wrapping them into the new-home. The team was able to collect the data points from the research involved in the NEXTadventure to create a new database of buyer preferences – slightly changing small features in the master bedroom, the master bath and a few other home features – that all add up to a better experience.

Kempton also acknowledges how this will change the company’s future. The lessons it is learning from this experience will be worked into Taylor Morrison communities, each expected to have a potential shelf life of five years.
