Ease of Living, Entertainment and Organization

Not only do they want to enjoy, but they want to share it with their friends.

NEXTadventure buyers have been working for decades, and now they want their own place to live for different reasons – no longer for raising kids and working 9 to 5. They now want to live in their home and enjoy everything that they worked so hard to obtain. According to research from the project, survey respondents ranked their top four expectations of a home as:

  1. Greater daily convenience/ease of living
  2. Financially rewarding investment
  3. Increased pride in home
  4. More relaxation or leisure time

Not only do they want to enjoy, but they want to share it with their friends. They want to show them what they have attained and enjoy it together with them. This home takes on more than what a home would in the past as well – Lita Dirks, president of Lita Dirks & Co. and interior designer for the NEXTadventure project, would go so far as to say that they even want it to resemble feeling like they are on vacation.
