Taylor Morrison is listening to the buyer. With focus groups and surveys, the company has created a home that is the perfect environment for the 55-plus buyer to allow for the enjoyment of their NEXTadventure.

Carol Thompson, national director, strategic sourcing for the east region at Taylor Morrison, describes some of the features of the NEXTadventure home, such as the large amount of storage, the bright lighting, the safety features and the amount of customization.

Research from the project showed that storage space was the sixth most important feature to this buyer demographic when purchasing a new home. It came behind quality of construction, safer neighborhood, better floor plans, overall design and lower maintenance.

In this video, Thompson outlines the rest of the features that the team drew out of the focus group and survey responses to make the NEXTadventure home a true representation of what the 55-plus group wants in a home.
