Lennar Charlotte has acquired a 293-acre lakeside property in Gaston County, N.C., less than 30 minutes from uptown Charlotte. Named Imagery, the land will be transformed into an active adult community and is approved for nearly 480 homesites with direct access to Mountain Island Lake.

“As Charlotte continues to boom as one of America’s top housing markets, we can’t wait to introduce active adult and lake living on some of the region’s most coveted waterfront property,” says Mark Henninger, the Lennar Charlotte division manager. “Imagery is going to celebrate the art of adult living with a curated experience centered around safety, health and wellness in a beautiful setting.”

Imagery’s resort-style amenities will feature lakeside boat slips, courts for tennis, pickleball and bocce along with a pool, clubhouse and miles of hiking trails. The community will offer an array of artistic programs for residents with crafts including painting, pottery and more.

With single-family homes between two and four bedrooms and up to 4,000 square feet, Imagery pre-sales are targeted to open in Fall of 2018 starting around the high $200s. As an an active adult community, Imagery will be restricted to buyers over the age of 55 and feature Lennar’s signature Everything’s Included options from quartz countertops to the latest home appliances.
