Lennar has announced its first Tampa Bay-area active adult homes for the Montage at SouthShore Bay community in Wimauma, Fla. Eight model homes, including both single-family homes and villas, have been designed with “aging in place” in mind, Lennar says.
Single-family homes, open for sale in January, range from the 1,683-square-foot “Morningtide” with two bedrooms, two baths, and a two-car garage to the 2,775-square-foot “Daybreak” with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a three-car garage. Each home features an open floor plan, open-entry showers with built-in benches, and outdoor patio space.

Montage at SouthShore Bay villas, for sale this March, are one or two-story, two-bedroom homes with a one-car garage, and flex space or loft. Some villas will be fully furnished as part of Lennar’s “Stay and Play” program, allowing prospective buyers to stay in the community for a few days before making a purchase.
The homes in Montage at SouthShore Bay will include ULTRAFi for internet speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second, allowing residents to use multiple devices simultaneously without slowing internet performance. As part of Lennar’s “Everything’s Included” program, the new homes will include upgraded features such as a large-capacity washer and dryer, two-inch designer blinds, GE ENERGY STAR appliances, marble windowsills, and elegant finishes.
The SouthShore Bay community includes a unique, six-acre Crystal Lagoon in which residents can swim, kayak, and even sail. The lagoon includes a family beach, tide pool, and cabana area.

SouthShore Bay also offers a dog park, walking trails, golf cart paths, a zen garden, and shaded tot lot. The gated community is located near Interstate 75 south of Tampa.
