ENTRYWAY. Make the front door and entryway enticing without spending a lot of money. Switch up your door styles or color offerings and consider specing 7- or 8-foot-tall models, at least as an option. “Don’t be afraid to make a little bit of a different choice than you’ve done in the past,” says Dirks.

The inside of the front door is important too, so make it pop with a colorful paint. After all, it’s the last thing customers see when they leave a model home. “The door has become like a piece of art,” she adds.
