There’s much to savor in this big, bold showcase kitchen, but its crown jewel is arguably the custom copper range hood that drops down behind an eclectic tin Mexican chandelier with a backsplash of 14-inch squares of Sumari limestone. Designed by architects Luis Jauregui and Jim Gandy, the sumptuous space also features an exposed timber beam ceiling, custom fabricated kitchen cabinets of stain-grade alder with European hinges, granite countertops in Giallo Borialle and Antique Brown, and marble plank flooring.
