Taylor Morrison has opened a 6,000-square-foot amenity center at its Esplanade at Starkey Ranch development in Odessa, Fla.
The center includes tennis, pickleball and bocce ball courts, a fitness and aerobics center, meeting and gathering spaces, a catering kitchen, billiard room, and multi-purpose room. The outdoor area features pools, hot tub, fire pit, event lawn, a tot lot and one park each for small dogs and large dogs. Also, an on-site lifestyle manager will be on hand to interact with residents and coordinate special activities, parties and events.
“Esplanade at Starkey Ranch offers a resort-style living experience to its homeowners,” says Joe Fontana, Division President for Taylor Morrison’s Tampa division. “With the addition of the new amenity center, this community continues to exude the luxury lifestyle that every Esplanade community is known for.”
Just 30 minutes from downtown Tampa, Esplanade is located in a gated enclave on 225 acres within the master-planned Starkey Ranch. Taylor Morrison is offering nine home designs with flexible floor plans that include optional bonus rooms, media rooms, and dens.
The development will be home to the Starkey Ranch District Park, a public/private initiative that is planned to include a K-8 school, a library and community theater, baseball and multi-use sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, three playgrounds, a track, and a pavilion. The community will also have its own business park which is approved for a 220-room hotel as well as retail, medical and office uses.
