Robert Bosch Tool Corp. has formed two new agreements to market software to the building industry as part of the company’s new Digital Power Tools line. One product helps builders manage warranties, the other lets subcontractors track labor and equipment charges.

The warranty management product for builders is Punchlist Manager from Service Software, a software maker in Englewood, Colo. The software lets builders keep track of all the warranties on a house and set schedules for subcontractors to complete the work. Builders can notify tradespeople by e-mail, fax, or by posting a job on their company’s Web site.

Punchlist Manager runs on desktop computers, standard handhelds, and Tablet PCs. A one-user license for small builders sells for $950. Service Software also has a version with one license for the desktop and five field licenses for $3,400. Punchlist Manager integrates with back-end accounting software such as Intuit’s MasterBuilder, Timberline, and BuildSoft.

The second product is a labor and equipment tracking tool, mJobTime from Accu-Tech Systems, a software maker in Beaumont, Texas, that specializes in software solutions for the construction industry.

A one-user license for mJobTime runs $199. Accu-Tech also has a version that integrates with MasterBuilder for $399.
