Florida-based home automation provider TiO has partnered with Idaho-based Maddyn Homes to provide TiO’s smart-home technology as standard in the upcoming Maddyn Village.

Maddyn Village will be the first net-zero ready subdivision in Idaho, and the first to combine high-performance building techniques with solar infrastructure and smart home products.

Maddyn Homes, a high-end custom builder, will include a basic TiO system in each of its Maddyn Village homes. Additional upgrade levels are available for buyers looking for enhanced lighting or audio, or additional components.

“With Maddyn Village, we wanted to provide a sizeable, high-performance house at a price point where home buyers aren’t generally receiving those upgrades,” says Kyle Enzler, president and owner of Maddyn Homes. “[TiO] ties in with everything we’re doing on the high-performance and energy side, which can’t always be seen. Users will be able to cut back on their energy costs with TiO, allowing them to control their lighting, thermostat and more whether they’re home or away.”

TiO products will also now be available to all Maddyn Homes’ custom home clients as an add-on feature.
