The newly built HGTV Smart Home 2023 in Sante Fe, New Mexico, embraces the city’s vibrant arts scene and architecture while infusing technology throughout the 3,095-square-foot floor plan.
Offering three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths on nearly 2 acres, the open-concept living area features a dining space and a state-of-the-art kitchen with technologically advanced appliances, including a digital range hood over the stove. The multifunction space off the kitchen includes a laundry room, a pantry, a mudroom, and a crafting or home office area. From the living room bar, drinks and bites can be sent to the rooftop deck via a dumbwaiter.
The main bedroom’s bathroom highlights dual floating vanities and a spa-like wet room complete with a soaking tub, dual shower heads, a rain shower, and smart controls.
The outdoor living areas also include an outdoor kitchen with a dining area, a spa plunge pool, various lounge settings, and a fire pit.
Designed by architecture firm Lorn Tryk Architects, the home was built by locally based Boss Builders and includes landscape design by Bespoke Garden Plans. Tiffany Brooks designed the home’s interiors, which feature bold walls, graphic tile work, geometric accents, and a dramatic curved kitchen island with fluted woodwork.

All of the furnishings, an all-electric Mercedes-Benx EQE Sedan, and $100,000 are included in this year’s contest. The official entry period is April 18 through June 9, 2023. Eligible fans can enters on HGTV.com and FoodNetwork.com.
