Trendmaker Homes, a unit of the TRI Pointe Group (NYSE:TPH), has announced the grand opening of its new Design Studio in northwest Austin.

“Our new design studio showcases a great variety of premium lifestyle products to cater to many preferences and ensure the utmost in customer satisfaction,” said Mark Heidmann, director of sales and marketing at Trendmaker Homes Austin. “It’s really about where the home and heart start to come together. We deliver a quality, ‘retail-like’ design experience while home buyers choose the finishes, options and upgrades they desire.”

All of Trendmaker Homes’ customers will enjoy the elevated home buying experience of personalizing their options by meeting with a design consultant to select flooring, counters, cabinets, lighting, fixtures, appliances, interior paint, stair railing systems and electrical options. The curated choices — customized a la carte — are based on what today’s customers want. Trendmaker Homes has become an exclusive studio for Daltile and Mohawk Flooring, and recently added locally based Graniteworks Countertops. Other trusted manufacturing partners include Marazzi Group tile, Kent Moore Cabinets, Capital Lighting, Delta Faucets, G.E. Appliances and more.

“Today’s buyers want finishes that look both elevated and neutral and are low maintenance,” said Heidmann. “They’ve really embraced all of the customized options we’ve curated through the Design Studio — especially the durability of quartz countertops and laminate wood and the look of white marble countertops as well as the bright, open studio space itself and the expert design staff. No less than 100% of the customers seen in the studio have chosen upgrades.”

All buyers of new to-be-built homes at Trendmaker Homes communities in the Austin metro can leverage the new design center experience, including Rancho Sienna, 6 Creeks, Palmera Ridge and Highlands at Mayfield Ranch and a upcoming community at Meyer Ranch. Through the first quarter of 2020, home buyers who purchase a new to-be-built Trendmaker Home can receive up to $10,000 in design studio selections credit (restrictions apply).
